Accounting professionals collaborating in a modern office setup
Frazier & Deeter has acquired Anglin Reichmann Armstrong, enhancing its reach in the Southeast. This strategic acquisition allows FD to deepen its expertise in government contracting and construction, while offering improved services to closely-held businesses. With roots dating back to 1990, Anglin is one of Alabama’s top CPA firms, aligning perfectly with FD’s growth strategy. The merger will operate under the name ‘Anglin, a Frazier & Deeter company’, promising enriched client experiences and access to advanced resources.
Frazier & Deeter (FD), recognized as a top 50 accounting and business advisory firm, has announced its acquisition of Anglin Reichmann Armstrong, P.C. (Anglin). This strategic move not only extends FD’s geographical reach in the Southeastern United States but also bolsters its capabilities across various industry sectors, enhancing service offerings for both firms’ clients.
Anglin, which operates from Huntsville, Alabama, with additional offices in Pensacola and Winter Haven, Florida, is known for its specialization in government contracting, client accounting and advisory services (CAAS), and human resources consulting. This merger is particularly significant, as it connects Frazier & Deeter’s existing locations in Atlanta, Tampa, and Nashville and broadens its operational presence in Alabama, Central Florida, and the Florida Panhandle.
The acquisition aligns seamlessly with FD’s long-term growth strategy. By integrating Anglin, Frazier & Deeter deepens its industry-specific expertise and scales its advisory platform within the rapidly evolving government contracting sector (GovCon). This sector has seen increasing demand, making the acquisition both timely and beneficial for expanding FD’s market presence.
Frazier & Deeter has demonstrated a commitment to supporting closely held businesses through this growth initiative. The firms have had a collaborative relationship for several years through the CPAmerica network prior to the acquisition, establishing a solid foundation for partnership and shared goals.
As Anglin becomes fully integrated into FD’s operational infrastructure, it will gain access to a range of firm-wide support services including technology, finance, marketing, and talent development. This integration will empower Anglin’s professional team, which comprises over 80 professionals and positions them to accelerate growth under the renowned Frazier & Deeter global brand.
Founded in 1990, Anglin is among the 20 largest CPA firms in Alabama, which complements FD’s own established history as a respected leader in the accounting sector since its founding in 1981. Frazier & Deeter currently boasts over 600 employees and generates approximately $163 million in annual revenue.
Following the acquisition, Anglin will be rebranded as “Anglin, a Frazier & Deeter company.” This designation reflects the integration of expertise and resources while maintaining the distinct values and tradition that Anglin has built over the years. The partnership is anticipated to foster accelerated growth and enhance both firms’ market influence.
In addition to enriching their service offerings, Frazier & Deeter aims to focus on investing in the next generation of industry leadership and professionals. As the landscape of accounting and financial services continues to evolve, this investment into employee development is critical to maintaining a competitive edge and addressing the needs of a diverse clientele.
The acquisition of Anglin Reichmann Armstrong represents a significant milestone for Frazier & Deeter as it embarks on an ambitious journey of growth, expansion, and enhanced service delivery in the Southeastern United States. With a comprehensive understanding of government contracting and other specialized services, the combined firm is well-positioned to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead, ensuring robust support for its clients while pursuing strategic objectives in the industry.
