Architectural rendering of the Blue Marine residential building, designed for luxury and sustainability.
Pro Kapital Grupp has announced the start of construction for the Blue Marine residential building in the prestigious Klīversala Quarter of Riga. This sustainable development will feature 96 luxury apartments, with a focus on modern living and energy efficiency. The building, designed by a reputable architectural team, aims to enhance the urban landscape while providing residents with serene river views and convenient amenities. The project is supported by newly established subsidiaries dedicated to its management and development, ensuring a commitment to quality throughout the construction process.
Pro Kapital Grupp has officially begun construction on the Blue Marine residential building, located in the prestigious Klīversala Quarter in Riga, Latvia. This marks an important milestone in the development of this unique area, which sits within a nearly five-hectare land plot designated as a UNESCO heritage protection site.
The Klīversala Quarter is ideally situated along the scenic banks of the Daugava River and Āgenskalns Bay, offering residents stunning views and a peaceful environment. The area is poised to become one of the most sought-after locations for modern living in the city.
The Blue Marine building will comprise seven stories and feature a total of 96 apartments. The residential units will offer a variety of layouts ranging from 1-room to 5-room configurations, catering to a diverse range of homeowner needs. The architectural design of Blue Marine emphasizes a quietly luxurious lifestyle complemented by contemporary aesthetics.
The project’s vision aims to create a refined and sustainable living experience for its residents. This includes the integration of energy-efficient solutions and a timeless design that reflects modern living trends. An underground parking facility will also be included to enhance convenience for residents, along with a beautifully landscaped courtyard that promotes relaxation and community interaction.
The architectural concept for Blue Marine was crafted by Aivars Kagainis of Project Office Grietēns and Kagainis, an entity well-known for its modern and functional designs. The interior design will be handled by designers Jana Korolova and Andrey Korolyov, both of whom bring a wealth of experience to create inviting and stylish interiors for the residential units.
In June 2025, Pro Kapital Grupp formed two subsidiaries specifically for the execution of this project. The first, SIA Pro Kapital Latvia Engineering, has a share capital of EUR 5,000 and will oversee construction project management within Latvia. The second, SIA BM Klīversala, holds a share capital of EUR 2,600,000 and has been established solely for the Blue Marine project.
Both newly established subsidiaries will have a management board that includes key individuals from Pro Kapital Grupp. This governance structure aims to ensure effective oversight and a streamlined process throughout the construction and development phases.
Although the establishment of these subsidiaries is a strategic move for the Blue Marine project, it is noted that this formation does not significantly affect the overall economic activities of Pro Kapital Grupp as a whole. This method allows for increased efficiency and focus on the unique demands of the Klīversala Quarter development.
Investors and stakeholders can expect further updates on the Blue Marine project through the stock exchange system. Pro Kapital Grupp is dedicated to maintaining transparency and keeping interested parties informed about the ongoing progress and developments within the Klīversala Quarter.
The construction of the Blue Marine residential building is set to transform the Klīversala Quarter, enhancing both its appeal and value as a prime residential destination in Riga.
